Search on iPhone: find everything again
Looking for a message you read the other day, or a moment in a podcast? Search in channelBar Feeds finds it again – in the message, the link, the context and even in your podcast transcripts. The video shows you how in one minute.
The magnifying glass sits in the bottom bar of channelBar Feeds. The search covers exactly where you are – on Home, that’s all of your channels.
Where and how to search
Under “Search In”, you choose where to look: in the message, the link, the context or your podcast transcripts. “Condition” and “Date Range” narrow the search down even further. If you like, search only unread messages or turn on “Match Case”.
Results all the way into the podcast
Your results appear as a list, and the same gestures work as in the stream. Tap the title to see which channels and sources the results are in. Tap a podcast episode, and it starts right where the term was found, with the term already highlighted in the transcript. Use the arrows to jump from one match to the next. This works with every podcast that provides a transcript.
Keep or discard your results
Your results stay around. The magnifying glass with the circle takes you back to them at any time. When you’re done, long-press the magnifying glass and discard them.
